Dr. Brent
Davis has been in practice for over twenty years. His undergraduate
studies at UCLA were in pre-medicine and anthropology (with a special
emphasis on native healing methods.) He graduated cum laude from
Southern California University of Health Sciences, and is licensed as a
chiropractor in the states of California and Tennessee. Dr. Davis draws
from many modern chiropractic techniques, ranging from those which
adjust without any thrust by balancing polarity in the body (the BEST
method), to Applied Kinesiology, to gentle, conventional manipulation
of the spine and skull. He tailors how he adjusts to the needs of each
individual.
He has a two
year post-graduate training in classical homeopathy from Hahnemann
College of Homeopathic Medicine under the tutelage of renowned Indian
homeopath, K. O. George, HMD.
Dr. Davis has
had a compelling interest in the world of medicinal plants since he
began clinical practice. He has focused especially on bringing to light
both forgotten and new applications of master herbs as they relate to
healing common problems.
Beginning in
2001 Dr. Davis received two U.S. patents for the invention of a whole
new form of flower essence therapy (FlorAlive.com) which is
much more powerful than the original Bach flower remedies due to
advances in the technique of preparation. Virtually all flower essence
producers worldwide use the original method of cutting the living
flower from the mother plant for extraction which causes a loss of much
healing energy. Dr. Davis' invention extracts the living flower UNCUT,
thus preserving the full power of LIVING flowers to help heal emotional
trauma and negative subconscious patterning.
Dr. Davis is
internationally distinguished for landmark research on various herbs
such as Echinacea and Cat's Claw. He has collected and prepared herbs
in the wild from around the world; clinically validated their
usefulness; brought lost herbs to the attention of the academic
research community; and finally, co-authored articles in peer-reviewed
scientific journals. In addition to
his clinical practice, he creates herbal products for health
professionals at PRL-Phytotherapy Research Laboratories, and conducts
workshops for health practitioners to teach the effective use of flower
essences and herbs.
